I Have to admit, I had a ton of fun gathering all of the ideas and putting together this baby shower. I had help, I couldn’t do this alone, but for the paper and design items – that’s all my work some of it can be found at my Etsy Store. Take a look after you’re done reading my blog.
One of the greatest thing in life is being able to give. But not just to give, to give without expecting anything in return. Unconditional and selfless giving is by far one of the most admirable ways of giving. I am not referring to me. I am referring to the mom-to-be who’s baby shower was given to. She is one of these wonderful people who gives the little that she has – unconditionally.
For my wedding, she came over our apt and not feeling so well health wise, still offered to help out with assembling favors and flowers and also to sing live at my wedding. No excuses, no weird anythings – she was willing and able and did what was asked of her. Her husband is the same way – I can say I am lucky to know such wonderful beings. In Galatians it says: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7-9 (KJV) The Bible couldn’t have put it in a better way. Specially when we sow, without expecting anything in return.
This baby shower was put together with lots of love by the ladies you see in the image… My awesome mom and her friend also helped with the prepping of food and my best friend Myra baked 60 yummy red velvet cupcakes.
It is a wonderful thing to be able to do this for someone else – it truly is.
